Why Reluctant Wedding Singer?

I used to sing in a wedding band. As a freelancer, when I often couldn't tell the difference between a Tuesday and a Saturday, this worked out well. But, with the advent of FTJ (full time job) and other obligations such as being a loving wife, an actor, and a happy person, I had begun to need my spring and summer Saturdays and holiday weekends for leisure rather than work. So, in April 2007, after four years with the band, I sang my last "Total Eclipse of the Heart."

The bad news: I lost a guaranteed outlet for performing music. The good news: I lost a guaranteed outlet for performing cheesy music.
